I recently went to look at a van that had newly arrived to the branch and hadn’t been prepped. I took the van for a test drive and was happy with the information I was given with no pushy sales tactics. The van needed a few touch ups to get rid of a few dints and ghost writing. Chris and Finn were very welcoming, helpful and easy to deal with. I bought my first ever van from them to do a camper conversion and the van is spot on, being female I’ve had bad experiences in the past with people not taking me seriously and talking to my partner rather than me, even though its me who is purchasing the van.. But not at JL Vans the spoke to me directly and offered a test drive. I was happy to just drive it down the road but the man who came with me directed me where to go and we went on a good long drive, ive never felt so relaxed when buying a vehicle. So if you are thinking of purchasing from JL Vans take my word for it.

Before taking the van it had a full MOT and it was due to have a small service however when I asked if they could do a full one and that I would pay, it wasnt an issue for JL Vans and they sorted it with 0 costs.
On taking the van home I did notice that indicator was playing up a little, i
So I contacted JL vans and they couldnt apologise more and reassured me it would be sorted straight away, they had even booked the part in before I even brought the van in so it was ready and they put the brand new indicator stalk on as soon as I arrived, I was in and out no waiting about for hours and they didnt even bother trying to fix it the indicator stalk, they just replaced it and now it works great. I Also was looking for a place to take the speed limiter off it as my local garage doesnt do it and once again JL Vans have stepped in, its now booked in and sorted completely free. This company is amazing and they should pride themselves on this. I recommend everyone I meet to JL vans, so happy I got my van from them.

I had a positive experience with JL Vans. The van was delivered a little later than planned due to transportation company issues. But this was not the fault of JL Vans. All my questions were answered during the purchase process and no pressure was ever put on me. Nothing seemed to be any trouble and the responses were fast and friendly. The van is in the condition it was presented as and I also feel secure with the two year AA warranty. I would recommend highly.

I cannot fault my buying experience with JL Vans. From seeing a couple of vehicles on Auto-trader we wanted to look at, calling up and arriving to them all parked on the forecourt ready for us, accompanied with a list of all the vehicles they had for sale; and when we wanted to see more they couldn’t have done more to help us, including a test drive. The negotiation and purchase of the van was seem less. I part exchanged my car, seamless. Then… I wanted a tow bar fitting- no worries there either. A garage was arranged with a very competitive price and JL Vans sorted it all out for me- they did a really tidy job too. I picked my van up 2 weeks later, fully serviced, MOTed, all faults fixed, clean and a tow bar fitted. The team were wonderful! Especially, when I rang a week later with a fault on the slide cargo door- we arranged to take it to my local garage and they paid the invoice within minutes of receiving it over the phone. I haven’t had to use my RAC recovery or warranty yet, because the van is running lovely- but it’s definitely peace of mind having it!

What a great buying experience i had with JL Vans , no hard sell or pushy sales people i was let to look around at my leisure and if i needed questions answering then the lads were there to answer them for me . I purchased a van from J L vans, not directly from them, it was from the AA site. As soon as I was ready to go ahead with the purchase they were really helpful from start to finish. I was booked in at 2pm for the hand over, but I got there early. It was not a problem for them, and they got the van ready ASAP with a full valet and wash. Great service from JL. I had a readiness delay due to a faulty sensor on the van I’d bought off them but rather than getting the garage to remove the warning they asked me to wait to get the issue resolved properly so it was in as near to perfect condition as you can get for a used van.

Fantastic dealer, iv had this van now for well over a month and it’s run absolutely perfectly despite having 120,000 miles on the clock it runs like new , I couldn’t be happier, JL vans were great to deal with making the process very easy and stress free, I can’t recommend them enough and I would defo be using them again in the future, 10/10 great job guys 👍

We’ve bought 20+ sprinters for camper conversions since 2017 and this might be the smoothest transaction we have had, couldn’t be happier. The 2019 MWB Sprinter we put a deposit down on was delivered to us in the Lakes at no extra cost, fresh MOT, Oil & Filter and advisories all taken care of.

Contacted Jl vans about a vehicle around a month previous to purchasing my vehicle.Through no fault on their behalf I decided the time wasn’t right to buy at that point.A couple of weeks later I called them to see if the vehicle was still available.Fortunately it was and they still had my details on file.The result was that a few days later I travelled down from Scotland to pick up the van. I bought a 67 Renault traffic in early June, test drove it and purchased it. When the vehicle arrived it had a couple of marks where probably the transport company had bumped it, JLVans quickly booked it into a body shop garage for repair, the usb at the dash was faulty, a new one is on order. Constant advice for any questions and on going support. Would recommend. Thanks guys

I bought a 2016 Mercedes Sprinter in July 2023 for a camper conversion. I was looking at vans right through June and July going to many dealerships to see many vans. Rick and Andy at JL Vans Ltd have been very helpful from start to finish. They explained the process completely to me – I do not drive so have never bought a vehicle before. I was purchasing this for our company, so needed every bit of help I could get!! The stock that they have gave us so many options. The after sales care has been appreciated and even explaining how to tax the vehicle wasn’t too much trouble for them. We will definitely use them in the future when purchasing more vehicles and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I bought a van a little over a month ago and have been using it regularly. It is an absolute dream to drive and I cannot fault it. JLVans team were super helpful throughout. They had a great many positive reviews so I didn’t have much doubt but they really did deliver a top tier service addressing any questions and were very welcoming of me sending an independent mechanic who only found a couple very minor points which they fixed for free.

Found a vehicle on Autotrader for my customer had a visit to JL Vans met John who was dealing with the sale made very welcome. Looked round the vehicle went for a test drive the vehicle performed fine but had a couple of issues which we took up with John on our return. He stated that he would have the issues addressed and would get a full 12 month MOT on the vehicle at the same time. My customer was satisfied with the vehicle and left a deposit and the vehicle will be collected as soon as the issues are addressed with a full report as to the repairs carried out. Very good company to deal with and such an easy transaction. Brilliant.

Andy & Team from start to finish have gone above and beyond to help answer all the questions. Quick with the Paper work and no hidden charges. Saw the Van on Friday week later collected the Van fully serviced. I did try to rush them to get the Van earlier but they didn’t seem to want to cut corners which is great. All issues reported during the Service resolved without a fuss. Provide extra information for Free cover as well as helped getting the Road Tax sorted before we drove off. Provide great advice in regards to maintenance of the Van and broke down details of the Cover.

We had such a great van buying experience with JL Vans! We bought a L4H3 Citroen Relay for a van conversion. Having previously looked at many vans in many different places, ranging from national car dealerships to a man on an industrial estate with a bag of keys we found JL Vans to be the perfect place to purchase our van.

Excellent buying experience at JL vans.
From the outset viewing numerous vans of interest we was passed the keys by Rick and just left to have a good look at the vans and no pushy sales which was great.
Once we had found the van we liked a deposit was left and and arranged to pick up a week later with the rear of the van ply lined and some small dents repaired.
Really smooth enjoyable experience buying from JL vans and will return in the future.
